Types of Funding
NDIS
OT for Kids is able to provide therapy support to children and families who have self-managed NDIS plans and have funding allocated under the support category, Improved Daily Living.
Private Health
Some families may have occupational therapy services included within their private health cover. The rebate you receive may differ from fund to fund. You are encouraged to contact your private health insurer to ensure that you can access therapy with us and to action receiving your rebate.
Medicare
Enquire with your local GP as to whether or not your child is eligible to receive a Chronic Disease Management Plan (also known as Enhanced Primary Care Plan). Under this plan, you will receive 5 claimable sessions per year. Please be aware that the rebate you receive is determined by Medicare and that there are still out of pocket expenses.
